A Taste of St. Anthony
St. Anthony, like any other faith community, is not just one thing. Worshipping God is what brings us together, but it can't and doesn't stop there. What we receive through worship, holy communion, prayers and scripture, we are expected to take wherever we go. What each of us takes is as unique as we are, providing a "taste" of what St. Anthony is.
Throughout the year, we invite our community to our worship, including special services such as our annual pet blessing, projects that make a difference in our communities and throughout the world, group studies, children's and youth activities and much more.
Several times during the year, our "taste" includes an edible invitation carefully prepared by our St. Anthony baking team. In the fall, members of St. Anthony passed out over 350 delicious mini pumpkin loaves to people in our community and during Advent, cranberry loaves with information on all our activities planned.
A Taste of St. Anthony is just another way of saying: Taste and see that the Lord is good!
