Council Against Domestic Violence
This ministry provides information about domestic violence resources either through individual conversations or through “shoe cards” in restrooms around church. Each Christmas season, they conduct “Santa’s Sleigh,” through which parishioners and others are invited to donate Christmas gifts to children and parents in a domestic violence shelter.
The group has worked with several area agencies and domestic violence shelters. Arrangements will be made to deliver gently used (or new) items to one of the agencies. For more information, please fill out form below.

The members of the CADV wish to thank everyone who contributed to Santa's Sleigh again this year. We closed out 2021 with a bang. We were able to take a sleigh full of presents and over 85 gift cards to A New Leaf, a local shelter for those suffering from domestic violence. This generosity brightened the holidays for many people.
Many residents at the New Leaf Shelter will enjoy a happier holiday thanks to your thoughtful gifts. "In as much as you have given it onto the least you have also given onto me." God's blessings on each one of you. CADV is now offering cards for purchase that include pictures of our altar taken by Rosemary Viets. These pictures are available in the lobby of the Parish Hall.
