The story of Jesus’ entrance into Jerusalem all the way through to his arrest and crucifixion, presented by our youth. 11:15 am Easter Egg Coloring All are invited to participate Maundy Thursday, March 296 pm Agape Meal in the Parish Hall
The reenactment of Jesus’ last supper with his disciples, sharing of tender fellowship and a reminder of Jesus’ commandment to love. A Mediterranean-style meal of soup, bread, condiments and wine will be served. Holy Eucharist and Foot Washing 7 pm in the Sanctuary Those present will be invited but not obligated to participate in Jesus’ own servant act of washing the disciples’ feet. At the conclusion of Holy Eucharist will be the removal of all decorations called stripping of the altar. This solemn act prepares us for Good Friday and the reality of Jesus’ death. For those who wish to remain, there will be a time of silent meditation and prayer to reflect on the enormity of Jesus’ sacrifice. In the Chapel of St. Luke the Physician. |
