2018 Stewardship Campaign
Thank you to the 87 households who have made a pledge commitment for 2018. We greatly appreciate your support of the ministries and programs at St. Anthony. To date we have pledges totaling $286,345. We are pleased to report that 60% of our households have taken a step up in their pledge, increasing the proportion of their income they will give in the coming year. This leaves 70 active households who have not yet made a pledge commitment. The Vestry relies on pledges received before setting the budget for next year. Every pledge (regardless of size) is needed and valued. If you haven’t already turned in your pledge, please place it in the offering plate this Sunday, mail it to the church office or e-mail your pledge amount to email@example.com.
Practicing Wonder With all Your Heart, Soul, Strength and Mind Advent Books
The seasons of Advent and Christmas are filled with the presence of wonder if only we remember to pause and open ourselves to receiving this gift. Practicing Wonder with all Your Heart, Soul, Strength, and Mind is a timely resource to help remind each of us to take time to discover how the gifts of wonder might be born in us yet again this year. These books are available in the Inspire Resource Center during the season of Advent.
Finding the Wonder – Morning Retreat
Saturday, December 16 – 8-11 am
“therefore, beloved, while you are waiting for these things, strive to be found by him at peace, without spot or blemish; and regard the patience of our Lord as salvation” 2 Peter 3:15.
Allow yourself a quiet time in this busy season - a time to pause and reflect on the wonder of the season. Experience the quiet and beauty of the Church and maybe find the wonder of the Inspire Gardens and Labyrinth. Written guides for your personal meditations and how to experience the Labyrinth will be available. Come when you can and stay as long as you like.
Tree of Remembrance
Chapel of St. Luke the Physician
Perhaps they are not stars in the sky, but rather openings where our loved ones shine down to let us know how happy they are.
You are invited to remember your loved one who died and still hold in your hearts this Advent season by placing their name on a star to place on our Tree of Remembrance. The tree and stars will be in the Chapel.

Christmas Festival and Bazaar Update
The first St. Anthony Christmas Festival and Bazaar was a great success making over $5,500. MOSA (men of St. Anthony) was fantastic in the setup and cleanup of the bazaar. So many of you provided wonderfully handcrafted items, baked goods and gave of your time. We have so many talented people in our congregation. And you also bought!
The Bistro was wonderful and fed so many people. The pre-Christmas rummage sale did very well. The bake sale and bazaar exceeded expectations. If you missed the Bollywood dancers, check our website. They were fantastic. Thanks to all, and we look forward to your participation and support next year. Think Christmas Festival 2018.
