St. Anthony Parish Profile Now Available
Our parish profile that will be used by potential candidates for the position of Rector is now available here. It was recently published to a national database by the Diocese of AZ. Thanks to the team who worked to capture who we are as a faith community and what we would be to become in the future. Continue to hold in your prayers the procdss of finding the right person to led, guide and walk beside us.

Changes to COVID Protocol from Dan Austin, Our Sr. Warden
We are amending our coronavirus protocols on masks to ask that all fully vaccinated parishioners consider continuing to wear masks while attending services or other events at St. Anthony. This change reflects the continued spread in Maricopa County of the highly transmissible Delta variant of the virus and the recent CDC finding about this variant's ability to infect even a small number of fully vaccinated people, turning them into potential sources of virus spread. We will continue to urge masks for those who aren't fully vaccinated or who have compromised immune-system or other health issues. We will continue our social-distance protocols. In keeping with our current anti-virus protocols, coffee hour in the Parish Hall after services, scheduled to resume August 15, has been postponed.
11th Annual Charity Golf Tournament
Saturday, September 11, 2021
Thanks to all the golfers, the volunteers, those who donated auction items and sponsored holes and those who came for dinner and bought raffle tickets and auction items - you made our annual golf tournament another success. As always every dollar we raise from this tournament goes to our many outreach projects, locally and internationally. We will be posting our results when they are available. In the meantime, here's a couple of pictures from the day. If you have some to share, send them here.

Healing Prayer Minister Opportunities
If you have the gift of empathy, an ability to listen, and the compassion of a caring Christian, the Healing Prayer Ministry at St. Anthony is for you. Working with our deacons, members of this ministry station themselves in the Chapel of St. Luke during and after Communion every Sunday to pray with any individual or family who request prayers, sometimes offering thanks to God for blessings received, and other times seeking assurance of God's presence and love in times of difficulty. Training is available, and the rewards of being a companion in prayer when fellow parishioners need it are great. For further information about how you can participate in this ministry, please contact Debbie Hubbs, Parish Administrator, and we will respond.
RSVP Requested for All Worship Services

Communion to Go
For those unable to attend an in-person worship service due to health concerns, we offer “communion to go.” Each Sunday from 10-10:15 am a volunteer will be waiting in the church parking lot next to the bell tower to distribute communion to those who have signed up in advance. To sign up, and you must do this each week you would like this, go here.

A new round of scam/spam emails have been going out to members of St. Anthony that appear to be from Fr. Jackson. It comes from a gmail.com acccount (ours is st-anthony.net not gmail) and looks legitimate. However, it isn't. Fr. Jackson would never request that you run an errand for him and send him bitcoin, gift cards or other items of value. If and when you receive these emails, mark them as spam and delete them. If you have any question about the veracity of an email you receive from Fr. Jackson, please call the church office.

Great Opportunity with Walking the Mourner's Path
This ministry needs an administrative person to process orders for our partner churches including responding to church requests, gathering and packing materials, preparing shipments, ensuring materials arrive in a timely basis and processing payments from churches. Skills needed are a working knowledge of Microsoft Office and email. Basic knowledge of QuickBooks a plus. The ideal candidate needs to be able to work independently. The schedule is fairly flexible, and a stipend as compensation for the work is available. Contact Catherine Gilbert if interested.
