This dynamic and hands-on formation for our youngest members will take place in the Godly Play room to the right of the parish hall lobby. Is Public Speaking Your Gift?
We are seeking persons to make our Sunday morning announcements. You will be provided training and a script each week. If you are excited about what goes on at Saint Anthony and can be at church early on Sunday mornings, this is for you. See Dan Austin for information. Easter Morning
7 am and 9 am in the Church Brunch following 9 am Worship Please sign up on the bulletin board to bring an item for our Easter Brunch after the 9 am service. At our 7 am service we will be distributing home baked mini loaves of bread. We will need about 10 dozen loaves. If you would like to bake a dozen or two, please sign up on the bulletin board. A limited number of baking pans are available if needed. Lenten Intentions
You might have noticed in the lobby a large cross made of small boxes. This will be there throughout Lent to hold our intentions of what we will be letting go or changing or a habit we would like to develop. Look for the basket of blank cards and pens. Write your intentions and place it in the cross. Self-directed Stations of the Cross
Every Sunday in Lent you will have the opportunity of walking the Stations of the Cross in our courtyard. Use this self-directed devotion commemorating Christ’s last day while contemplating the needs of suffering people in the world today. Weather permitting, a caveat rarely made in AZ. The Children, Youth and Family Ministries are conducting a sock drive to assist those homeless and in need. Look for the basket on Sunday mornings beginning April 16. Habitat for Humanity
The Episcopal Habitat Coalition (EHC) of which St. Anthony is a member, in partnership with Habitat for Humanity Central Arizona, has begun building its 44th Phoenix metro area home. If you are interested in learning more about the St. Anthony Habitat ministry, in volunteering, or about Habitat for Humanity in general, please feel free to reach out to the ministry leader, Jon Thom. Deacon Grant and Susan Gilfeather After 9 am Worship Be sure to go to the Parish Hall after worship on Sunday to honor our friends Grant and Susan Gilfeather for all they have done for Saint Anthony and our local communities. There will be a card basket for those who wish to drop them a note. There is a signup for hosting Hospitality on the serving table. All are invited to offer their hosting services.
