Thursday, April 15 - 5 pm
It was great to see so many people back at church this Sunday. It almost feels like normal. At our gathering this week, we may want to share any highlights that you have experienced as people begin to come back. But it is always nice to see where the evening takes us. If you haven’t joined us before, we would love to have you Zoom with us this week.
Tuesday, April 20 - 6 pm
All are welcome to join Avid Readers to discuss Twenty Wishes by Debbie Macomber. Eloise Crosman will lead the discussion. Contact Susan Gilfeather, Jeanne Paige or Eloise Crosman if you would like join the discussion. You will then receive an invitation to the ZOOM meeting.
Looking ahead, the group will discuss The Readers of Broken Wheel Recommend by Katarina Bivald on May 15. Please note that the word “Recommend” was omitted from the title on the book list. To see what books will be discussed in the future, go here.
Godly Play for Children via Zoom
Sundays at 9 am
We have been invited to join St. Barnabas for a weekly Sunday School Zoom meeting. Every Sunday at 9 am we will be hearing a Godly Play story as a large group and then break out into smaller, age-based groups for wondering and engagement. Parents are encouraged to attend with children. This class is appropriate for ages 3-12 years. For more information and to register your child, go here.
Join a Circle of Grace
At St. Anthony we have kept in touch with each other throughout the past year with an online small group ministry via Zoom called "Circles of Grace." These Circles meet at different times during the week, on different schedules and cover a variety of topics. These groups are always available for folks to join in, meet new friends, learn new things and just stay connected. No judgments here -- come when you can, and we'll be happy to see you. Go to Circles of Grace.
EPIC Youth Group is Back!!
This group is for 6-12th grade students and will meet in person, socially distanced with masks on Sundays at 3 pm. Be sure to keep up on the latest student ministry news here.
New Smoke-Free Policy for our Campus
Our vestry has enacted a new smoke-free policy for our entire campus. For all the details, please go here.
Arts Council Virtual Exhibits
The St. Anthony Arts Council exhibits are now online. Please view our April exhibit by going here to view the breathtaking artwork of our own Claudia Smith.
If you are interested in being on the Arts Council, we welcome anyone who wants to join. You do not have to be an artist, just a person willing to help. Because we will be online for a few more months, computer skills would be beneficial. Please leave a message at the church office for Becky if you would like to join or have any questions.
Communion to Go
For those unable to attend an in-person worship service due to health concerns, we offer “communion to go.” Each Sunday from 10-10:15 am a volunteer will be waiting in the church parking lot next to the bell tower to distribute communion to those who have signed up in advance. To sign up, and you must do this each week you would like this, go here.
The AZ Episcopalian is Available Online
