Needlecrafts for needs

This team gathers the collective sewing, knitting and crocheting skills of many to create prayer shawls, hats and lap robes. These are distributed throughout the community to local nursing homes, a men’s shelter and a group assisting the disabled. The goup meets the second Wednesday of each month from 10-noon in the Parish Hall. For more information contact Claudia Johnson.

Christmas Festival
December 7-8
Parish Hall

The Christmas Festival is coming! What projects could you contribute – sewing, stitchery, pottery, painting, jewelry making, in addition to homemade soaps, scrubs and candles? Do you bake or have special family recipes for candy, cookies, mixes or cakes? All innovative ideas are welcome. Please think about how you can be part of this fun event as a contributor, a volunteer or both. Please sign up at the Inspire bulletin board for any way you can help. Contact Claudia Johnson by email or phone.

Shop and support the fundraiser for St. Anthony. It's never been easier to change a life for the better. From December 1-31, when you buy handmade gifts and home decor using the web link below, 20% of your purchase will be donated to St. Anthony by clicking here.

Dedicating to fighting poverty through fair trade since 1949, Serrv International works with nearly 8,000 artisans and farmers in 24 countries to bring you the world's most beautiful handcrafts. #worldofgood

Christmas Festival and Bazaar Update
The first St. Anthony Christmas Festival and Bazaar was a great success making over $5,500. MOSA (men of St. Anthony) was fantastic in the setup and cleanup of the bazaar. So many of you provided wonderfully handcrafted items, baked goods and gave of your time. We have so many talented people in our congregation. And you also bought!

The Bistro was wonderful and fed so many people. The pre-Christmas rummage sale did very well. The bake sale and bazaar exceeded expectations.  If you missed the Bollywood dancers, check our website.  They were fantastic. Thanks to all, and we look forward to your participation and support next year. Think Christmas Festival 2018.

During Bishop Kirk Smith's last visit to St. Anthony, he blessed 425 items made by the NfN team. The prayer shawls, lap robes, blankets, hats and scarves will be distributed throughout our community at large giving comfort and warmth to those in need.
