Before you come to our campus or join us online for worship
What can I expect on a Sunday?
We have one morning worship service on Sunday at 9 am unless a special worship service is planned for holidays or special events.
Be sure to look for a member of the Welcome Team or an usher at the front door, because they’ll be looking for you. They will be happy to give you any assistance you might need. Stop by the Welcome Center just outside the church door to receive additional information about us and to have your questions answered.
We celebrate Holy Communion at each service. All baptized Christians are welcomed to receive Holy Communion. However, if you do not wish to do so, you are invited to come forward for a blessing.
Our worship services are about an hour and a quarter long.
Are you Christian? What does “Episcopal” even mean?
As Episcopalians, we are followers of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and we believe in the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. "Episcopos" is the Greek word for "bishop." Thus "Episcopal" means "governed by bishops." The Episcopal Church maintains the three-fold order of ministry as handed down by the Apostles -- deacons, priests and bishops -- in direct descent, via the laying on of hands, from the original Apostles. By the way, "Episcopal" is an adjective: "I belong to the Episcopal Church." The noun is "Episcopalian": "I am an Episcopalian."

What do I wear?
Since you will see people of all ages and stages of life, you will also see a variety of attire—from blue jeans or shorts to coats and ties. And we welcome them all.
Where do I park?
We have a large parking lot just as you enter our campus.

How can I become a member?
Like all Episcopal churches, we believe that all baptized persons are full members of the Body of Christ. That means if you have been baptized by water and in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit in any denomination then you are invited to fully participate in all aspects of the church including Holy Communion. It is anticipated that a full affirmation of your faith involving learning about the faith and the church will result in the rite of confirmation. Contact any member of our clergy team for more information.
What do you believe?
The Episcopal Church does not require members to sign a statement of specific beliefs. What we believe is expressed through the experience of our worship and the words of our Book of Common Prayer. Within that framework, the Episcopal Church embraces individual differences on particular doctrines. The core of our beliefs is that we believe in one God, who is the source of all things and who desires to redeem us and all creation from that which separates us from God. God is best understood as the Trinity—Father, Son and Holy Spirit—and through serving Jesus Christ as Lord, we can be restored to God and work with God to restore the world around us.
